PTA Reflections Arts Competition
“I Belong!”

The MST PTA invites all MST Elementary students affiliated with the PTA to participate in the annual,  nationwide PTA Reflections Arts Contest! This year’s theme is “I Belong!”—a chance for students to express themselves creatively through the arts and share what belonging means to them.

What is Reflections?

The PTA Reflections program encourages students to explore their creativity and talents in the arts. Students can submit original works in any of the following categories:

• Visual Arts (drawing, painting, mixed media)

• Photography

• Literature (poems, short stories, essays)

• Music Composition

• Dance Choreography

• Film Production

Who Can Enter?

All MST Elementary students who are members / whose parents are members of the MST PTA are eligible to participate. Students may submit entries in one or more categories, and each entry must reflect this year’s theme.

Submission Deadline

All entries must be submitted by Friday, November 7, 2025.

How to Enter

1. Visit the Texas PTA Reflections page for full eligibility requirements and rules: www.txpta.org/reflections-participation

2. Create your original work inspired by the theme “I Belong!”

3. Complete the official student entry form (available on the Texas PTA website).

4. Submit your completed entry and form to the MST PTA by November 7, 2025.

   • Digital entries can be emailed to reflections@mstpta.org.

   • Physical entries can be turned in at the MST front office.

Why Participate?

• Celebrate and share your unique talents!

• Winners may advance to district, state, and even national levels of competition.

• Your art could be showcased for the entire school community.
