Volunteer at MST Elementary

We love our volunteers! At MST Elementary, parent and guardian involvement helps build a stronger school community and creates memorable experiences for our students. From helping with class parties and school events to supporting PTA initiatives, there are plenty of ways you can make a difference.

Step 1: Share Your Interest

Step 2: Complete the RISD Volunteer Registration

Before you can volunteer at MST Elementary or any other school in Richardson ISD, all prospective volunteers must complete the required Volunteer Registration process. This includes:

• Filling out a short online registration form; and

• Watching a brief orientation video.

The process takes just a few minutes and helps ensure a safe and secure environment for all students.

Step 3: Sign Up for Volunteer Opportunities at MST

Once you're registered through RISD, you're ready to jump in and help! MST offers a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the school year — from classroom help and event support to field trips and library assistance. 

Browse the PTA's Current Volunteer Opportunities, and keep an eye out for sign-up links in teacher and school communications.

Step 4:  Log Your Volunteer Hours

PTAs log volunteer hours to demonstrate significant parent and community engagement, which is crucial for maintaining the PTA’s non-profit tax-exempt status and for securing grants and other funding.
