MST PTA Membership Drive Going on Now!

Join MST PTA by October 31st.  The class with the most PTA members will win a popcorn party in November!

Your PTA membership supports programs, supplies, and events at the school for all teachers and students. You do not have to volunteer or attend any meetings to be part of the PTA - simply purchasing a membership is a great way to show our community and local leaders that you care about our school and all of our students.

Sponsorship opportunities

Sponsorship funds are needed to help provide family friendly events to build our school community and for fun experiences for our students such as field day, and to support teachers and staff throughout the year.

All sponsors will be recognized and advertising opportunities are available.

RED RIBBON wEEK - oCT. 22-26

Red Ribbon Week was inspired by the heroic work and sacrifice of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Enrique Camarena. In 1985, Special Agent Camarena was killed in the line of duty while trying to gather information on drug traffickers.
A movement to honor Camarena’s memory was launched in his home state of California by his family and friends. The movement challenged children and adults to pledge to be drug free. The grass-roots movement continued to grow to other states and in 1988 the U.S. Congress proclaimed the last week of October as Red Ribbon Week.

MST will be collecting the following items throughout Red Ribbon Week:
combs/brushes, washcloths, and towels.

Monday, October 22: “You Use, You Lose! Enough Said, Wear Red!”
Wear as much red as possible today as we kick off Red Ribbon Week!

Tuesday, October 23: “Life’s Your Journey - Where are You Traveling?”
Wear as much college gear as you can.

Wednesday, October 24: “Take a Stand, Lend a Hand - National Unity Day”
Wear Orange today as we stand together against bullying. UNITED for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. **Refusal Skills and Safety Rules presentation for 4th-6th grade students by Berkner Peer Helpers.

Thursday, October 25: “Can’t Go Back, Stay on Track”

Friday, October 26: “Mix It Up with Friends, Not Drugs!”
