Our Mission

MST PTA's mission is the same as RISD Council of PTAs and Texas PTA:

To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

• Staff appreciation meals during the school day for all teachers, administration, and support staff
• Coordinate and assist room parents with parties for all K-6 students
• Serve as volunteers during other MST events including book fairs, design day, and more
• Organize materials and stuff weekly Tuesday folders for all students
• Support the design and creation of the MST Outdoor Learning Center and Garden with funding and volunteer hours
• Support after school clubs such as Chess Club, Science Olympiad team, etc. 
• Sponsor School Supply Sales each year
• Organize and promote events where students and families can build relationships with one another
• Donate funds to ensure transportation and entrance fees/tickets for student field trips
• Sponsor 6th grade graduation and recognition
• Assist with staff scholarships and additional student assistance when needed

Who We Are

MST PTA is made up of passionate parents and community members just like you! Many of us have full-time jobs and care for our children and parents alike. We donate whatever time we have to support our students, staff, and teachers, and we hope you will join with us in this important and meaningful work.
