MST Library Volunteers

Have 30–60 minutes during the school day? Come help keep our library buzzing! Mrs. Alexander would love a helper once a week for a month (example: someone volunteering every Tuesday in December) to shelve books and tidy the stacks.

You choose the month, you choose the time—anytime during the school day. Have extra time? Sign up for more than one month. We’d love to have you!

What you’ll do

• Shelve returned books in the correct sections;

• Straighten shelves and face out featured titles;

• Help pull books for displays or teacher requests; and

• Light, library-friendly tasks (no experience needed!).

Time commitment

• Once a week for one month (you pick the month);

• 30–60 minutes per visit;

• Come at a time that fits your schedule during the school day.

2. Complete the RISD Volunteer Registration (required):
   Richardson ISD requires all campus volunteers to complete the annual volunteer registration/background check before your first shift. Please complete your RISD registration as soon as you sign up.

Already registered with RISD as a volunteer for this school year? You’re good to go!
