Students in RISD may test once per academic year to determine if they qualify for gifted services. As a parent, you have the opportunity to refer your child for this testing once per year. The referral window for testing will run fromSeptember 29th through October 13th. A QR code will be posted near the main entrance for easy scanning, and teachers will send information home as well.

During that time, parents can submit a referral for their student by accessing a Google form link that will be shared as we get closer to the referral window. Please note: RISD administers this test to all 2nd graders and 6th graders on our campus. If your child is in 2nd or 6th grade, you do not need to refer them for GT testing.
