MST PTA shares the mission of RISD Council of PTAs and Texas PTA:
To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

👥 Who We Are

We’re a dedicated group of parents, guardians, and community members—just like you! Many of us balance full-time jobs, caregiving, and busy lives, but we give what time we can to support MST students, staff, and teachers. Whether you volunteer once a year or every week, your involvement makes a difference.

💡 Our Impact

Through your support, MST PTA provides critical resources, time, and funding that directly benefit our school. Here’s just a glimpse of what we do:

• Provide staff appreciation meals for teachers, administration, and support staff

• Coordinate class parties and assist room parents for all K–6 students

• Volunteer for school events like book fairs, Design Day, and more

• Assemble and distribute weekly Tuesday folders

• Help design, fund, and maintain the MST Outdoor Learning Center and Garden

• Support after-school clubs (Chess Club, Science Olympiad, etc.)

• Sponsor the annual school supply sales

• Host events that build community among MST families

• Fund transportation and entrance fees for field trips

• Sponsor 6th grade graduation and recognition events

• Provide staff scholarships and additional student assistance as needed
